Pakt was founded by Malcolm Fontier with the aim of creating travel gear shaped by real travel experience. The brand officially launched in 2017 with the Pakt One, developed through crowdfunding and refined through feedback from its community. Based in Bozeman, Montana, Pakt has since expanded into a cohesive system of travel backpacks and duffels designed for structured packing and practical use.
