What's different
The Evade 1.0 sits at 21L. The Evade 1.5 is 25L, enough of a difference to change what you can pack for a given day without moving to a full travel pack.
The Evade 1.5 also comes with load lifters, the straps that connect the top of the shoulder straps to the top of the bag. When adjusted correctly, they pull the bag closer to your back and distribute weight more evenly across your shoulders. For a bag carried light, you may not notice their absence but for a bag loaded for a longer day or an overnight, they make a meaningful difference in how the bag feels after a few hours.
The depth of the Evade 1.5 is also slightly deeper than the Evade 1.0, which accounts for most of the additional volume. The bags look similar side by side but you feel it when packing.
